The Goulburn AP & H Society Inc. recognizes the importance of equestrian events at our show, and we are committed to encouraging the development of what we refer to as the “Beginners Ring”. The rider classes are designed to give those riders a taste of ‘showing’ but not competing against riders of a higher skill or experience. As a general guide, competitors in the ‘beginners ring’ would be those that are new to showing with no previous wins or placings in open, intermediate or novice type classes. The ridden classes for Ponies, Galloways, Hacks & Hunters are designed for the beginner competitor looking to give young or inexperienced horses that opportunity to gain exposure in the show ring environment, acceptance into this ring will be at the discretion of the judge, the chief horse steward, ringmaster & assistants.
No judging advantage will be given on saddlery or tack.

Pony Club
All riders must be a current financial riding member of an affiliated Pony Club and dressed in full Pony Club uniform.
Pony Club Association of NSW rules apply.
One horse, one rider.
Pairs and fours riders must be from the same Pony Club, if possible, one entry fee per pair or per fours.
Best Presented class is ridden, handling, pony, rider, uniform and tack to be considered.
