Competitions
Leading the pack with the Pavilion, Woodchop, the Goulburn Show’s competitions turn country skill and spirit into serious local-legend status.

Dogs (All Breeds)
The All Breeds Dog Show will be conducted on Sunday, commencing at 9:00 am. Exhibitors from across the region will present a wide range of pedigree breeds for assessment under qualified judges.
Judging will be based on recognised breed standards, with emphasis on conformation, movement, temperament, and overall presentation.
The program includes classes for senior exhibitors, novice handlers, and junior participants. All judging will take place in the designated Dog Show Arena.
Exhibitors are requested to be in place before the commencement of judging to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Woodchopping
Feel the ground shake and the chips fly as the Woodchopping returns to the Goulburn Show in 2026. This is one of the Show’s most iconic and crowd‑pleasing attractions — a thrilling display of raw strength, razor‑sharp technique and the deep timber‑cutting heritage that helped build Australia.

Junior Showgirl & Master Showman
The Junior Showgirl & Master Showman Competition celebrates the enthusiasm, confidence and community spirit of young people who are proud to be part of rural NSW and the agricultural show movement.
It encourages entrants to learn about their local show, develop new skills and take part in traditions that help keep country communities strong.
Open to children and teens who enjoy being involved, the competition focuses on personal growth, communication and a willingness to participate. Entrants have the chance to meet new people, discover how a show operates and gain experience that builds confidence for the future.
Livestock
